We will be your voice on ‘Town Team’.
Bray Municipal District Council is piloting a new initiative for the town that has was first proposed on the Portas Report and has proven successful across the UK and Ireland.
This initiative that will put in place a visionary, strategic and strong operational management team. The ‘Town Team’ will comprise of individuals with broad sector experience across many disciplines and covers a wide geographic spread and provides an opportunity for different local stakeholders to come together.
One of the primary objectives is to encourage more collaboration, communication and cooperation between the Local Authority and the business community.
The Vision of the Town Team is to improve the prosperity of the Town and enhance the well-being of the community, creating a viable and sustainable Town economy.
The Chamber will work side by side with the Council and all stakeholders making sure that Bray Town has clear core vision, clear objectives are set, timelines agreed and decisions made will be in response to the towns needs, viable and, most importantly, sustainable.

The Chamber organises many events throughout the year; some formal others casual, some business some for the community. With Business events the aim is to inform and entertain members allowing everyone to interact and exchange ideas. The Chamber is licensed to issue these certificates, which certify that goods are manufactured in Ireland. A European Union certificate must be issued for Arab destinations and is also available through the Chamber.

Lobbying for you
One of the core functions of the Chamber is to represent local business on a regional and national level. When you have an issue in Business, where do you go? When we see an issue that needs to be raised, we make ourselves heard. Bray Chamber has developed a strong working relationship over the years with the Bray Town Council and Wicklow County Council. Members of the Chamber Executive are actively involved on Council committees representing your business interests and meet with Council Reps once a month to raise any issues of concern on behalf of their members.
