Friday evening saw the opening of Bray’s 10th annual St. Patrick’s Festival with a spectacular Fireworks Display over the famous Harbour Walls. It was a chilly evening but that did not stop the masses of spectators arriving to view the beautiful display. According to some people on St. Patrick’s Facebook page, they could even see the Fireworks from Howth! The Funfair also opened on Friday evening just in time for the Fireworks. Everyone’s favourite spine tingling rides returned to the seafront once again. The daredevils were out in force all weekend testing their bravery on all the rides.
Monsieur Guesto the Escapoligist entertained the local children on Saturday afternoon with his fantastic fire breathing and juggling skills while dancers from Berry Dance Academy danced showcased their amazing Irish Dancing reels and jigs, face painters were also on hand to give the kids a patriotic make over. Screams and laughter filled the air as the bravest boy’s and girl’s held some giant real live slithery snakes!!!…
