Martello Training is part of an EU-funded initiative that offers Irish companies unpaid internships with European students, professionals and unemployed people.
This will help newly inducted countries, such as Croatia, integrate into the EU by giving their interns first-hand experience of working and living in Western Europe.
In the last two years we have sent over 200 people from Croatia to Ireland through mobility programs. We are currently in the process of forming partnerships with organisations in Croatia to help organize internships for Croatian professionals, students and the unemployed. The idea is to bring Croatian interns to work in Ireland for a short period of time (2 weeks min) where all of their living expenses are paid for with the EU Mobility funds. In the last two years alone we have been directly involved in bringing over €250,000.00 to the South County Dublin and Wicklow area.
