Sarah Finnegan , President of Bray Chamber acknowledged that this is the start of a long-term plan for this initiative adding “This is the first year and our goal for 2022 is to increase awareness and promote the use of sustainable options when it comes to celebrating St Patrick. If participants and spectators embrace the initiative I can envision the event becoming carbon neutral in the long-term which would be something Bray could be very proud of.”
For anyone looking for inspiration for their entry, the theme this year is “40 shades of Green” , where green can be interpreted any way the entry wishes including the colour or as sustainability. For queries regarding being in the parade contact info@braychamber.ie.
